Garden Club for June 9th. . .
Is on! Mr. V, our fearless parent volunteer and snack provider has generously agreed to lead the gardening activities in my absence. I hope you guys have fun!
who wouldve thought these kids would dig into some weeds (purslane), as soon as i told them they were edible?! the nasturtium flowers and petals were spicy and peppery as well... looking forward to some summer mornings in the garden, keep us posted!
Good eye, catching the purslane. My mom used to make me eat that stuff. I was not a fan. I'm a little more into it now and I think I have some seeds around here somewhere.
